The Logistics Achiever Awards promises to create greater awareness and understanding of the value of effective logistics and supply chain management. CILTSA is a supporting assosiaction for the awards taking place in October 2008.

The Objectives of the Logistics Achiever Awards is to “recognise professionalism and excellence in the effective application of strategic, tactical and operational logistics and supply chain management principles, concepts and practises in Southern Africa.” Dianne Holton, editor of Logistics News hopes that the awards will encourage all companies and organisations in Southern Africa to review, evaluate and upgrade their current logistics and supply chain management practises.
